Roof rails for my 5 door IO

Hi

 

I bought my car without roof rails. So I cannot put a roof rack on. The dealer is very pricey, with a new factory pair going for R6000.

I would like to build my own roofrack for my IO to fit on to the factory clips that are on my roof. How can this be done? Can anyone send me closup picks of custom roof rails and how they will fit. This will be great.

There's a tiny amount of room inside, so of all vehicles it should be standard on these .

A thread on roof bars and racks is a must have.
