Auto vs Manual

Auto is a bit different -

~100km/ph is around the 2800-3000rpm maybe a little under for stock tyres.

~115km/ph is 3500rpm

I've never got to 168km/ph!!  5000rpm gets around 140/150km/ph in an auto but hard to tell on the spot with bigger tyres throwing out speedo and GPS yelling at ya to slow down.

Rev

These car do rev a bit more than the average, you get used to it....

I have around 3200 at 100km/h on the speedo with the stock tyres.

Simmo777, I think that bigger tyres (like your 225/75/16) will give you less rpm for the same speedo speed , so stock tyre should be a little over instead of under, isn't it  ? or I got this wrong....

Happy io

Yeah

Yeah I don't know off top of my head it's either a little more or little less haha

But running 225/75/16 in an auto LWB 2.0L IO with exhaust system sees her sitting a few hundred below 3000rpm at 100km/ph (~2750rpm on a flat straight)

Taking the over drive off and dropping back a gear for hills/towing usually around that 3300rpm mark maintains 100km/ph pretty easily.
