Hi everyone just wondered if anyone has a suggestion on what might be making a rumbling noise in my Pinin.

We've had about 8 inches of snow which doesn't happen very often and I couldn't resist doing a few doughnuts around the yard. Now I've got a slight rumbling noise when idling, if I push down on the gear knob in neutral it gets louder also if I'm just pulling away from a stand still,. Anything above idle speed I can't hear it. I suspect a Bush maybe?

Where might this bush you suspect be located?

I know you don't want to get under the vehicle because of the snow, but, you might just need to.

You're getting this rumble with the vehicle stationary at idle - all of your suspension bushes and such are unloaded and unlikely to be causing any issues, but what about the exhaust - has that been dislocated by your little escapade - is it perhaps touching something it shouldn't?

Just thought i might have

Just thought i might have done something to the engine or gearbox mounts. I thought someone might have had similar problems after going off road. Today
I will be taking it to a garage and get it on the lift to try and figure out what's going on.

noise

Get someone to put a feet on the end of the exhaust and apply a bit of pressure (don't stand on it !!) if it is the exhaust you will probably hear a difference in the noise or it may go even away....
