Weekend Trip
Ill be heading off to Goodedulla National Park for a couple of nights starting tomorrow. Its meant to have some pretty decent 4x4ing there. The DERM pages says the last 10kms to get there can take 45 minutes. Pretty excited.
Should have some good photos/videos when I return.
I will go going with one other vehicle so with any luck no rescue helicopters will be required.
Perfect opportunity missed!
This spot would have been perfect for testing that snorkel out! With a back up vehicle to recover you too ;)
I can understand not wanting to though :)
I'll have to try and upload a video of me going through a bonnet deep creek (with a rag stuffed in the intake.... The 2nd crossing!). Unfortunately it's from inside the car so not that exciting to watch, but it was a lot narrower creek than this.

So I am back, Got halfway into Goodedulla and had to turn back because of this:
I did a walk through and found it would come upto the top of the bonnet, I was keen to drive though but my mate had a tray back so he would have got all his crap wet. I did drive into it a bit, but stopped before I got to the deep part which was a steep drop right at the other side. There was a bit of good 4x4ing there, but nothing hardcore.
Will add the video of driving into the water when they are uploaded.
So we ended up going to Blackdown Tableland which is a nice place, here is an example:
Anyway, was a good trip, and got to get the car nice and dirty also.
