translation from pictures:
take a front diff out of a larger pajero that you CAN put a locker into and run the same diff ratio - grind/modify and adapt it into an Io.
looks like it JUST fits with a body lift.
I am leaving my front diff standard - I've had too many issues with front lockers causing issues in the wet when cornering etc.
KTM runs front/rear kaisers but no idea how they are going - they pop and carry on when turning corners - i'm not a fan.
diff lock
I could be very wrong, but this doesn't seems to be working like the kaiser and it look to be the original diff. How does it work ? again I could be wrong but it seems to be more like a "air lock" system that can be switch "on and off"......I want one :)

I have bought, done up and sold many many car over the years. I never kept one for that long and it is the first one that I won't make money on it when/if I sell it.....but I never had so many positive outcome.....FUN included.....and Claude having fun is hard to stop :)
Gosh that car and some of the mod gave me some grey hair too !! but all worth doing !!

Question
Hi guys/KTM300/Glen/anyone else who has had their front diff apart.
Was wondering if anyone can provide or confirm specific details on what front diff is supplied in the 2.0L long wheel base Pajero IO's? I assume they are all the same for 1.8L & 2.0L
I have been led to believe they are 7.25" 25 or 28 spline 29mm 4.875 ratio same as the early model tritons and L200 Delicas, can anyone confirm?
Cheers,
Simmo
